Yash & Anju's Beautiful Punjabi Indian

Wedding at the San Jose Guwarda

Being a wedding photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area means I am privileged to photograph a large variety of weddings and the beautiful cultures that comes with it. Indian weddings are one of my favorites!

The one unique thing about photographing Indian weddings, I've found, is that because they are almost a week long I really get to know my couple and their families very well. After a week-long celebration of intimacy and celebration I find myself really missing them and their wonderful families. I enjoy my time with them, documenting their lives, their joy, their personalities, and telling these stories for them. I look back at Yash and Anju’s wedding, and can’t help but feel I was treated with respect, love, was well fed and cared for, as if I was a member of their family. Not just by the couple, but their siblings, their parents and grandparents, and extended family. I love what I do. I don't just take photographs. I get to share peoples lives with them. These families gave me so much more than a smile and a hand shake. They gave me their love and trust, and that brings me joy.

Bridal Editorial Shoot for La Soie Bridal in Walnut Creek

La Soie Bridal is a leading bridal salon in California. They have six locations including, Valencia, Torrance, Pasadena, Santa Barbara, Sacramento and the recently opened Walnut Creek Store. Our studio has been sharing a new relationship with La Soie, starting with sponsoring the grand opening of their beautiful Walnut Creek location (see the photos here).  We recently had an opportunity to work with La Soie on an amazing editorial shoot featuring a handful of their new 2015 collections! The shoot features five gowns from La Soie and Enzoani lines. If you are in the market for a gown for your wedding I encourage you to contact the store and make an appointment.

We had the privilege of working with some amazing talent for this shoot, including the outstanding stylist, hair and makeup artist Armando Sarabia of Get Your Do Up. Armando is incredibly talented, and is one of our studio’s preferred vendors recommended to all of our brides looking for the best artist and service in the business. We take great pride in recommending Armando!

We also had an outstanding professional model fly in from New York to help us create these beautiful images! Anelisa Durham was outstanding.  She has a gift, and is a true professional!

Special thanks to Shadowbrook Winery in Walnut Creek for giving us a beautiful backdrop for our photographs! This winery is celebrating their 100 year anniversary this year!

Also, thank you to Vicens Forns Photography for coming and assisting!

Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.  I hope you enjoy!
