Often times when you think of a January wedding in San Francisco you might picture a cold, overcast, and perhaps wet wedding day. Well, in most cases you might be right, but this was not the case for Alexandra and Matt’s stunning mid-January wedding! With record breaking temperatures for this time of year in the Bay Area we all enjoyed an absolutely beautiful picture-perfect day!
Alex and Matt, along with their friends and family, all got ready for the big day at the Omni Hotel in downtown San Francisco. As you will see from the photos the rooms were filled with joy, laughter, and excitement for the festivities ahead.
After getting ready, and following the couples emotion filled first look, Alex, Matt, and the bridal party hit the streets with me and my team for an hour or so of photos before the ceremony. What a fun group to photograph! We all had an absolute blast! And the cable car ride up to Grace Cathedral was a great way to travel in the city on that beautiful afternoon!
If you’ve ever been inside Grace Cathedral you know what a stunning church it is. Walking in and seeing the gorgeous architecture and the beautiful red and blue ribbon coming down from the ceiling is just breath taking! The ceremony was equally as beautiful. Their private and intimate ceremony took place up by the altar under the large panes of stained glass.
Immediately following the ceremony we were off to The City Club of San Francisco for the reception where the decor and design was amazingly appointed by Extreme Elegance – Events by Tony!
