I spent five magnificent days in beautiful Puerta Vallarta, Mexico with Courtney and Carlos capturing their engagement photos. It all started when I photographed Courtney’s brother’s wedding a few years ago. She apparently has been following my work ever since! Her and Carlos LOVE Mexico, and hope to get married there very soon! You could image how thrilled I was when they asked if I would join them on a short trip down for a few days of photos and relaxation! They completely spoiled me! They took care of EVERYTHING! They flew me out and put me up for four nights at the amazing RIU Palace Pacifico! When I wasn’t hanging out with the couple dining, drinking and traveling the area with them, I was enjoying some time in the warm Mexico sun by the pool!
One of the days the couple rented a BEAUTIFUL Mexican hacienda for the day so we could take photos. Courtney hired someone for hair and makeup, while Carlos went into town for a fresh haircut. We spent hours enjoying this beautiful property and taking photos of them. Jesus, our escort and driver even provided snacks and refreshments! It was awesome!
We also spent time shooting on the beach, and one night even convinced the resort to open their night club early so we could go inside and get photos alone with them on the dance floor!
I gotta say, I do love this job! Here are just a small sample of my time with Courtney and Carlos in Mexico.
