I arrived at the Hyatt House in San Ramon to join Nicole, her mother and brides maids and friends amongst a pile of makeup, and heads full of curlers as the ladies prepared for the special day. Excitement, laughter and lots of and hair spray filled the air as the ladies hurriedly prepared to make it to the church on time. Eric, my second shooter, and I wandered the halls carrying a wedding dress and shoes, holding up the elevators for other guests as we attempted to photograph the dress under the mirrored ceiling and lights. I enjoyed the smiling faces and comments from other guests as they found me on the floor of the moving elevator when the doors opened on the ground floor, seeing me trying to get a shot of the wedding dress!
Special thanks to Eric Leffler for second shooting with me!
Vendor list coming soon….
The guys, of course, threw their tuxedos on before grabbing In-N-Out Burgers, then jumped into the limo and headed out for a pre-ceremony celebration at a local adult beverage dispensary! 🙂
Once we arrived at Crow Canyon Country Club for Matt and Nicole’s wedding reception, we quickly got the families together for family portraits on the gorgeous grounds of the golf course! Then we threw Nicole and Matt into a golf cart and headed down the fare-way to try and capture a few romantics of the couple while the light was still amazing!
The guests (especially the caterers) were thrilled that we delivered the bride and groom in time for dinner and the other festivities to begin!
…..And begin they did! Matt’s brothers really put on a show with the speeches, and had the guests laughing with stories of Matt and their early life shenanigans! The rest of the evening was FULL of dancing, cake pops, and plenty of trips to the bar! DJ Jason Mitchell did his normal music magic, and had the dance floor ROCKIN’!
