Destination Wine Country Wedding at Gundlach Bundschu in Sonoma

Home to Chicago, Illinois Stef and Matt dreamt of a wine country destination wedding, and their dream came true this summer at the amazing Gunlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma! An outstanding group of wedding professionals helped us create these beautiful images, as we could not have done it without them! The wedding was planned and designed by the amazing Duncan Reyes of F. Duncan Reyes Events by Design, along with his team of rockstars, including Jason Mitchell of Gatsby Entertainment, who killed it on the dance floor (as alway), Stefania Contreras of Atmosphere Lighting, who created the beautiful evening ambiance, Jeeryn Dang of Tanjeeryn Designs, who did the outstanding floral design! Plus many, many others (listed below)! 

Stef and Matt’s wedding was very intimate.  Just a small group of family and friends that flew in from all over the country to celebrate with them.  Make no mistake though, this wedding was fabulous! A beautiful couple, two beautiful families, at an amazing wine country wedding destination that was decorated by an outstanding wedding planner and his team, great food and wine, and sunshine; lots of it, gave us all a day this couple and their family and friends will always remember!

Here are just a handful of my favorite moments that I was honored to be witness to!

My face hurt for three days follwing this wedding after watching these two dance with their parents!  This was by far the most beautiful Father-Daughter and Mother-Son Dance I have ever seen! SO beautiful how much they all love one another!

A quick story on this last image… I was walking through the wine cave at Gunlach Bundschu Winery and came across Jason Mitchell and his crew setting up the lighting for the cave.  They had all the lights piled into a nice little pile. I quickly asked Jason if we could have a moment for an impromptu bridal portrait! Stef simply stood over the top of the lights, we placed a few behind her, changed the color of the lights a bit, and created this rather unusual portrait of this amazing bride! Thank you Gatsby Entertainment for the loaner on the lights and helping us make it happen! 🙂
