Tina and Deepak got married on a beautiful Tuesday fall afternoon recently. It was a super long day, but so very beautiful! They morning started out in Berkeley for Tina’s getting ready, and Deepak in San Francisco for his turban tying. The couple and their friends and family then met up at the El Sobrante Sikh Gurdwara where they had their Sikh Indian Wedding ceremony. After the ceremony we raced off to The Palace of Fine Arts with the couple and the wedding party for a few fun portraits! Being a week day it was nice that it was quiet, and we almost had the place to ourselves!
The afternoon Bengali Hindu Indian ceremony took place at the magnificent Fairmont San Francisco. I love how the bride entered this ceremony. She was carried in, covering her face, not to see her groom until she had approached him and circled him seven times. It was beautiful and very unique!
After the two ceremonies it was time to party, and party they did! The Gold Room at the Fairmont San Francisco is so beautiful and a fun venue to enjoy dinner and dancing!
The weather was perfect, the food was great, and the wedding beautiful and fun! Here are a few of my favorite moments!
